dynasty, colby's & the 80's

Can you hear me calling
Out your name

You know that I'm falling in love

Don't know what to say

I'll speak a little louder

I'll even shout

You know that I'm proud

And I can't get the words out

Oh I... I want to be with you everywhere
Oh I...
I want to be with you everywhere
(Wanna be with you everywhere)

Something's happening

Happening to me

My friends say I'm acting peculiarly

Come along baby

We better make a start

You better make it soon

Before you break my heart

Oh I...
I want to be with you everywhere
Oh I...
I want to be with you everywhere
(Wanna be with you everywhere)

A fish?!?! That's what the client must have said to XPACE architecture + urban design when they proposed their idea for his new house extension. The new building is an extension to the private house of a sculptor in Luxemburg, providing a studio, a relaxation and wellness area with a sauna, and a viewing terrace. The studio is housed in the garden storey, half-sunk space is shielded against the hill slope by an angled, exposed concrete wall. Due to its full-height, openable glass façade facing the garden, the studio can also be used as an outside working area. A copper-coated, two-storey air space additionally lends the relatively small studio space a surprising spaciousness. The elevated position of the upper storey, nestled amongst the treetops, provides a beautiful vista over the park-like private garden. The roof, constructed as a sundeck and affording an open view onto the Kirchberg and the surrounding landscape, forms the upper surround of the house.

blue lime

House Equanimity is a single-family, three bedroom home that deviates in scale and appearance from the surrounding neighbourhood, designed by Joseph N. Biondo. The main living area, whose face is half buried into the landscape, offers no views to the east except that of its walled courtyard.

The hues of blue on the exterior of the house echo the mottled limestone quarried locally in Northampton, Pennsylvania. The interior space is open, intimate, and neutral with domestic objects articulated as furnishings placed within.

californication

Like a sound you hear
That lingers in your ear

But you can't forget
From sundown to sunset

It's all in the air

You hear it everywhere

No matter what you do

It's gonna grab a hold on you

California soul, California soul

They say the sun comes up every morning

And if you listen oh so carefully

The winds that ride on the high time
Whistle in melody

And so the people started to sing

And that's how the surf gave birth untold

To California soul, California soul

When you hear the beat

You wanna pat your feet

And you've got to move cause

It's really such a groove

Puts a brand new kind of thinkin' in your mind

And you can't go wrong

Cause you're groovin' all day long

California soul, California soul

They had the melody and the beat

But it still didn't seem complete

Until they saw two lovers kissin

They knew just what was missin

So happy they were rockin and reelin
Because that added that lovin feeling

To California soul, California soul

Like a sound you hear
That lingers in your ear

playing with my delirium

What is better than a simple timber construction especially if you're merely a visitor in an ancient landscape such as a township of Fiscavaig on the western side of the Isle of Skye? Rural Design has successfully proposed a house in a landscape without disruption thus not lending itself as an intervention. The Architects have decided to lift the building off the ground on small piloti so that it could relate to the wider context. The house deliberately narrows to the north thus reducing its surface area as it leans into the weather.

beach block

This house in Obama is for a family of a president of a company. Situated near a beach, suppose design office have created a space closed to the outside environment. The building has a piloti built with reinforced concrete structure. The second floor is a metal structure that can have a wide span due to the truss beams. Kitchen space, bathrooms, study corners, storages and other services are placed at the border line of the building area. Meanwhile, the main space for residence is located in the inner area to protect from cold air from outside. Gardens are placed between the rooms and separate each room. Because of the courtyards, elements of the rooms and gardens are mixed and interact each other to create space that is hard to define neither inside nor outside.

Milanówek is a town (In the Middle Masovian Plain, between Łowicz and Błonie) and a seat of a separate commune in Poland in the powiat of Grodzisk Mazowiecki near Warsaw, it is often considered an outlying suburb of the capital of Poland but is in fact an independent entity administratively and culturally. By the time I got there, the BBQ was already in full steam and the aroma of marinated pork was intoxicating. The Żywiec and Okocim were going down well. Bearing in mind that Okocim is 7.1%, I knew it would be a long long night.

After a couple of hours, my hosts decided to step it up and brought out his own Bimber. Now we are talking! The last time I had this was when I was in the US hence I'm looking forward to it. Well, Moonshine
is an alcoholic beverage produced mainly at home. Due to the simplicity of the equipment used it is obtained by periodic distillation. The ingredients mostly derived from lower-priced products such as cereals, potatoes, sweets, molasses and sugar. The final product is colorless and has a sharp, unpleasant odour, representing the compound (i.e. in ajerkoniaku) it gives the impression of a spirit taste.

4 bottles later, countless amount of vodka, a variety of beers, delicious food along the way and cigarettes, everyone was merry and I fell asleep around 5am. Good night!

warsaw connection

After arriving and spending as little time in Warsaw, I made my way to Milanówek (more about it later) from Warszawa Centralna. This is the most important railway station in the city. Construction began in 1972 and completed in 1975 for the Polskie Koleje Państwowe, PKP (Polish State Railways). It was a flagship project of the Polish People's Republic during the economic boom fuelled in the 1970s by Western loans to replace the inadequate city's main rail station. As many monumental projects, the station encountered substantial problems early on and soon became a white elephant. Quality of the construction work and the station's functionality was poor compared to its initial design because of unmanaged alterations during its construction. The political propaganda for having it ready for Leonid Brezhnev's visit in 1975 doesn't help the situation. Unfortunately, the unnecessary haste meant that immediate repairs were needed through 1980's.

Saying that, the station was advanced for its time and incorporated technologies like automatic doors and escalators. Since the mid-1980s, Warsaw Central Station has been in decline and the city council has contemplated to demolishing and replacing it with a new one. Nothing has since been agreed. Now, Warsaw Central Station is flanked by Warszawa Śródmieście WKD for suburban light rail line and Warszawa Śródmieście PKP to the east.

Chalupa Architekti + d u m Architekti have designed of the Metropol Hotel results both from the respect to the context of Narodni trida –“The National Avenue” – as well as from the vision of a contemporary vibrant downtown with metropolitan palaces, cafés, restaurants and shops facing the street and all other things that support and accelerate modern urban life. Thus, the entire ground floor of the hotel is reserved for an urban café and restaurant which can be fully connected to the street by use of large-size automatically lifted glass panels. The hotel is draped in a unique fully glazed high-tech façade, a decking, fluently curved at the top.

Depending on the intensity of sunlight, the façade is automatically shaded by the use of motor-operated textile awnings which retract in high winds. The windows close automatically in case of rain or when a guest leaves the room. Upon opening them the heating and cooling are automatically regulated. Large-sized glazing allows stunning views of the city. The constant changeability of the multiple layers of the façade adds to the active part the building plays on one of Prague’s most exclusive and eventful streets.

It’s a common misconception that naturally beautiful models take naturally beautiful photographs. The truth is—without modelling poses and modelling tips, perfect photographs are harder than you think.

If you are a professional model, a photographer will most likely guide you through a variety of model poses throughout the photo shoot. But if you are an inspiring model and are still working your way up to the top—you may have to control your poses to ensure great headshots and sample modelling photographs.

Live show models, promo models, photographic models, and runway models all rely on professional model poses to succeed. Whether you aspire to appear in print magazines or fashion shows and Hollywood movies; if you want to be a model, pay special attention to this insider guide to modelling poses.

Breathe
Although sometimes concentration enhances a good photograph, obvious concentration can distract and often ruin a good photograph as well. Do not hold your breath for a modelling pose; always remember to breathe and appear at ease.

Posture
Bad posture is an unrecognized flaw in many people. However, for models, posture is a harmful flaw. Always remember to keep your back straight and your shoulders up. Slouching affects the mood of the photograph and enlarges the appearances of your stomach. In addition to your back and shoulders, always remember to flex your stomach muscles. Despite your weight or state of shape, your abdomen will appear more toned if you flex.

Limbs
Symmetry is officially out in the modeling world. When posing, make sure to differentiate your arms and legs with asymmetrical poses. If you have one arm long and straight by your side, make sure the other arm is bent. Whether a big or small angle, the bend will make the modelling pose look more real, less artificial. Continue the asymmetry to your legs. If one leg is locked straight, give the other leg a casual bend.

Camera
Although the camera is the ultimate focal point of a modelling photo shoot, great models do not look directly into the camera. To enhance the quality of your photo shoot, look away from the camera with a mix of head and eye poses. Looking off to the right or left side, or tiling your neck to either side can help you avoid direct eye contact with the camera. In many cases, your head and neck can remain stationary in your modeling pose—and your eyes can do all the work. Head and eye positions, coupled with personable facial expressions make for great model poses.

Sitting Poses
If you are sitting down during your photo shoot—don’t think it’s ok to slack off. In fact, sitting photo shoots require a lot of extra work. If you are sitting down or reclining, it’s important to put your eight on the back of one thigh, rather than distributing your weight equally on both thighs. If you roll one hip up from the ground or surface, shifting your weight will be simple. This pose results in a slimming effect that you don’t want to miss out on.

Cleavage
To make sure your best assets shine, there are a few basic guidelines to follow. Based on two distinct poses, a forward lean and a backward lean, any model with any breast size can maximize cleavage. When leaning forward, either bring your arms together at your waist, keep your arms straight at the elbows and clasp your hands together below your waist, or simply cross your arms. When leaning backward, raise your arms about your shoulders and head, keep your arms apart, and always slouch for the best cleavage results.

Smile
If you have a naturally beautiful smile—show your pearly whites with pride, just not every time. If you smile in each modelling pose, modeling agents will notice your lack of versatility, not your smile. To add variety to your modelling poses, try switching up your smile with a cute frown, a bratty bout, a friendly laugh, or even an edgy scowl. Your facial expressions can make or break your modelling poses. Let your smile show, but make sure to show what else you can do.

In addition to these personalized tips for modelling poses, every model should be aware of the basics of posing. There are 4 main types of model poses: lifestyle pose, movement pose, portrait pose, and body pose.

Lifestyle
The lifestyle pose evokes a sense of everyday living with common body movements and facial expressions. Throughout the day, moments of happiness, love, anger, and hope arise. To succeed at the lifestyle pose, each model must be able to recreate these everyday emotions.

Movement
The movement pose captures a specific action, such as running or jumping. Because this pose is most often used for a marketing photo shoot—the model is used to promote a product. Each model must be able to smile and laugh when using the products in the photo shoot.

Portrait
This modelling pose emphasizes the face of the model—and relies purely on facial features. The model will be in modest makeup and relaxed hair and should pose with a casual, genuine smile. Many portrait photographs are close up and emphasize details of the model’s face. If you are scheduled for a portrait photo shoot, make sure to pay extra attention to your skin and drink at least 8-12 glasses of water a day.

Body
Full-length photographs require body poses. Models are encouraged to shift weight between hips and make arms and lengths into asymmetrical stances. Although many body poses do not require specific facial expressions, putting your entire body into character during full-length poses helps your body find a natural balance.

Keep these insider model posing tips in mind during your next professional model photo shoot to ensure you blow the photographer away. Whether you’re a trained expert or an ambitious beginner, all models have the ability to excel in photo shoots. Focus on your posture, attitude, and facial expressions to succeed beyond your wildest expectations.

This new floating home is located on Lake Union, in the heart of the Seattle. The clients requested a contemporary home which would provide the spaces required for comfortable living and gracious entertaining. Due to the limited allowable footprint and the desire of the owner to maximize both interior living and outdoor entertaining spaces, the plan flips the typical residential model by locating public spaces on the upper level and private spaces on the entry level. The design promotes flexibility of use and affords maximum exposure to views and light for the living areas.

Lake Union Floating Home's various decks are recessed into the volume and changes in materials and surfaces provide differentiated interior uses. In bedrooms, the placement of glazed doors and windows was carefully considered to maximize views, to accentuate visual connections to the neighbouring floating home community, and to provide natural light. Vandeventer + Carlander Architects have chosen exterior materials for their aesthetic qualities and low maintenance. Aluminium panels cladding the entry level bathrooms complement the storefront windows on that floor. The upper level features rain screen cladding with fibre cement panels. These integrally coloured panels complement the lighter toned Alaskan yellow cedar framed windows. The exterior composition is a direct reflection of internal uses.

tort urodzinowy

rising ashes

I woke up this morning to the smell of burnt wood. It can't be a BBQ I thought. There isn't the smell of delicious burnt fat. As I look out of the kitchen window, I suddenly saw that my neighbour shed is charcoal. What happened?!?! The thought of it burning last night while I was sleeping and I didn't realise a damn thing was worrying. I blame my new over-efficient noise reduction triple glazing windows. Damn you Germans, why do you have to be so good?!

Sheds vary considerably in the complexity of their construction and size, from small open-sided tin-roofed structures to large wood-framed sheds with shingled roofs, windows, and electrical outlets. The simplest and least expensive sheds are available in kit form. Both shed kits and DIY plans are available for wooden and plastic models. Usually used to store home and garden tools, you could also have larger, more expensive sheds constructed of wood and include features typically found in house constructions. There is a variety of sheds; garden shed, bike shed, boat shed, agricultural shed, railway shed and more.

The word is recorded in English since 1481, as
shadde, possibly a variant of shade. The word shade comes from the Old English word "sceadu", which means "shade, shadow and darkness." The term's P.Gmc. cognate, "skadwo" also means "shady place, protection from glare or heat.

counting freckles

Well you done done me and you bet I felt it
I tried to be chill but you're so hot that I melted
I fell right through the cracks, now I'm trying to get back

Before the cool done run out I'll be giving it my bestest
And nothing's going to stop me but divine intervention
I reckon it's again my turn to win some or learn some

But I won't hesitate no more, no more
It cannot wait, I'm yours

Well open up your mind and see like me
Open up your plans and then you're free
Look into your heart and you'll find love love love love

Listen to the music of the moment people, dance and sing
We're just one big family
And it's our God-forsaken right to be loved loved loved loved loved

So I won't hesitate no more, no more
It cannot wait, I'm sure
There's no need to complicate, our time is short
This is our fate, I'm yours

D-d-do do you, but do you, d-d-do
But do you want to come on
Scooch on over closer dear
And I will nibble your ear

I've been spending way too long checking my tongue in the mirror
And bending over backwards just to try to see it clearer
But my breath fogged up the glass
And so I drew a new face and I laughed

I guess what I be saying is there ain't no better reason
To rid yourself of vanities and just go with the seasons
It's what we aim to do, our name is our virtue

But I won't hesitate no more, no more
It cannot wait, I'm yours

(I won't hesitate)
Open up your mind and see like me
(No more, no more)
Open up your plans and man you're free
Look into your heart and you'll find that the sky is yours
(It cannot wait, I'm sure)

So please don't, please don't, please don't
(There's no need to complicate)
There's no need to complicate
(Our time is short)
'Cause our time is short
(This is our fate)
This is, this is, this is our fate
I'm yours

Hotels remind me of luxury and there is nothing else better to experience luxury than in Hong Kong. For those of you who haven't been there, it is a must. Of course, it's a typical metropolitan with loud noise and pollution. What do you expect? It's a thriving city and I wouldn't change it for the world.

Hong Kong is full of memories and even the movies made in Hong Kong are full of nostalgia. Seductive and mysterious.
CL3 Architects have East have designed a business hotel located in a residential/commercial neighbourhood in Hong Kong. The hotel consists of a lobby reception, all day dining, health club, 339 guestrooms, 6 suites and a rooftop bar. There isn't much point to write about hotels because it's better to describe through experience. With a bed like that, a perfect partner after a long drinking session soaking up the Hong Kong skyline.
Is it my favourite? No but it is definitely good.

warsaw annoyance

I've been away these few days for a wedding. Fortunately it's not mine. And what better place to attend for a wedding especially for an alcoholic likes of me, other than Poland. Woo-hoo!! The wedding was held on the North East part of Poland nearer towards Russia. I've never been there and neither some of the guest that came from Blighty.

In fact, I have this sneaking suspicion that even some of the Polish guests have not touch that part of their homeland. I did ask and I was right! Anyway, the whole journey there was amazing. Train, plane, train and in total 13 hours of travelling. I loved it! Proper travelling experience and enough to soak it the journey.
Well, why did I title it Warsaw Annoyance? It has nothing to do with the people I met there or the great abundance of delicious food or even the more abundant alcohol especially Bimber (more of that later) but it has more to do with the ignorant immigration officers at the airport. What they don't seem to understand is that an Italian-cum-Algerian-cum-Dutch-slash-Korean with an English residency is a normal [non-threatening] individual. I was made to wait 20mins arriving and departing Warsaw airport because they needed to make 'some' phone calls. WTF!!

Anyway, enough of the negativity. There were more positives to talk about. First of all, Poland is a beautiful country. Polish people were very warm (even better after a few vodka) and Polish food is tremendous. Who said their food is boring doesn't know anything! I was staying at a friend's family house and I was truly grateful for their hospitality. The day started slow but after meeting them in the evening, a few Bimber (5 bottles!), we all struck an agreement that I might have been a Polish in my previous life. One of life's pleasures is that, after a few drinks, no matter how different language we speak, we will always be able to communicate at a happy basic level that transcends all barriers.

There is more to write but I will post my experience in stages...[read on]...

steel patches

Chartier Corbasson have created Maison de l’Architecture which was drawn on features of religious architecture. The concept behind the maison is to create thresholds between the spaces by what Chartier Corbasson terms as patches thus integrating all the components/space together. Corten steel is used to create an overall coherence because steel add a chronological dimension and history of the location. The ground-floor space is a versatile public reception area. Visitors will notice a large metal plaque embedded in the floor of the chapel area which can be raised and folded to create a series of movable backdrops. There are other plaques in the wall but only open out to provide display surfaces or to protect technical equipment. The Architect has designed it as a continuation of the chapel with offices of the association board the upper floor.

duex pain au chocolat, sil vous plait

Today I'll be spending a bit more time in Crouch End. As far as I'm concern, I've always pass this part of London if I'm on my way towards Muswell Hill. I've heard so many good things about it but for some reason, I've never had a chance to really visit there. My initial visit is positive; as long as there is Waitrose and M&S nearby, I know I'll be fine. Who can say no the the fantastic pain au chocolat. I think I'll be happy here because everyone seems to know everyone on the high street and that's something I'm looking for. The local Italian deli-cum-restaurant reminds me of most European al fresco restaurants. A fantastic butcher and a great local fishmonger. Nicholas wine merchant is present, several great local cafe, 3 local patisseries, a few local pubs serving nice ales, a popular comedy club and lots more. Definitely somewhere I could live. Now, let's see what the Brunette has to say.

Crouch End grew up as a hamlet on the old medieval route from London to the north. At this time it was governed as part of Hornsey which became a parish in around 1300. This heavily-wooded area contained farms and villas, one of which was Crouch Hall, probably built in 1681 at the crossroads of what came to be known as Crouch End. It remained rural until around 1880, probably because of the lack of adequate sewerage. Large parts remained in private ownership, inhibiting development. However, the development of the railway changed the area significantly. By 1887 there were seven railway stations in the area. Crouch End became a prosperous middle-class suburb due to an influx of mainly clerical workers who could easily commute to the city. The large old houses were replaced by comfortable middle-class housing and public parks were opened and a number of new roads and avenues, such as Elder Avenue and Weston Park were laid out. The whole area expanded greatly in the late Victorian period and most of its present-day streets were built up in the late 19th century.

By the mid-1930s Crouch End was a solid, middle-class Middlesex borough with a thriving and popular shopping centre that included an Opera House in the middle of Topsfield Parade. Until 1965 it was administratively part of the Municipal Borough of Hornsey and that body's forerunners. In 1965, when local government in London was reorganised Hornsey merged with the Municipal Borough of Tottenham and Crouch End became part of London Borough of Haringey. In the post war years Crouch End reverted to a more mixed social grouping and the London-wide provision of social housing saw the growth of council homes in and around Crouch End into Hornsey Vale (known as Abyssinia) and Hornsey Village itself. Many of the houses in the area lay empty post-war and many were 'bought' cheaply by speculative landlords who then let them out to the growing student populations of the Mountview and Hornsey Art Colleges.

The area became known as a student bedsit land for several decades into the early 80's until gentrification of the area changed the social profile and it became progressively more middle class. Eventually many houses became so highly priced that the working class profile became slowly marginalised and their children unable to afford to live in the area moved away. These social changes could be seen by the changes in the shop types over the period; gentrification brought estate agents en masse until the pace slowed and this was replaced by up market establishments and pavement-type cafes.

friends, really??

I thought I'd found the girl of my dreams. So it seems this is how the story ends: She's goin'to turn me down and say 'Can't we be Friends?'

I thought for once it couldn't go wrong Not for long! I can see the way this ends: She's goin'to turn me down and say 'Can't we be Friends?'

Never again! through and with love
And through with them! They play their game without shame, And who's to blame? I thought I'd found a girl I could trust What a bust! now I see the way this ends: She's goin'to turn me down and say 'Can't we be Friends?'

Never again! through and with love And through with them! They play their game without shame, And who's to blame? I should have seen the signals and stopped What a flop! now I see the way this ends I'll let her turn me down and say 'Can't we be Friends?'

I thought I'd found the girl of my dreams
So it seems this is how the story ends I'll let her turn me down and say 'Can't we be Friends?'

messy messy me

As a contrast, I have decided to add the video above to discuss a rather serious topic in education, mainly art education. A strong arts education promotes the skills children need to be successful. Their exposure promotes self-directed learning, creative thinking, improves school attendance and sharpens critical and creative skills. In fact, several recent studies have concluded that the creativity and innovation utilized in the artistic process will be highly valued by employers.

Teachers are the first to point out how creative arts programs have strongly influenced their students' self-image and increased their academic success in the areas of math, science and the language arts. But sadly, during these difficult economic times, arts programs are the first to be sacrificed. In addition, in many schools where classroom space is limited, so called art 'studios' are now only contained in a cart that is wheeled by teachers from room to room, severely limiting the arts education students receive.
In a community as diverse as ours, the arts serve as an essential bridge across language and cultural differences. They become the shared link that glue and shapes our understanding of how we see ourselves and each other.

grips

Why do women melt if they see you have big strong hands? Massage skills would be a bonus but it still doesn't answer the question apart from it being masculine. Any answer ladies? Anyway, some massage tips for you dudes and dudettes our there:

Massage the back with long smooth strokes along the spine. Most people equate massages with back rubs, so they'll expect this as part of the massage. It's great way to release tension in the spine and set the pace for the rest of the massage.
Follow the back rub by massaging the buttocks. Rub the butt by using your elbow to stroke the hip, then move to the gluteus maximus. Do this gently at first, but increase pressure if your partner likes it.

For you ladies out there perform a complete massage on a male partner by having him lie face down on the bed or massage table. Straddle him with your legs to his sides. Keep your hands flat, and move them in circles on his back, and then move up to his neck and shoulders. Keep your hands well-lubricated with hot, scented oil. Knead your male partner's back, shoulders and neck with the flat of your thumbs. Massage his buttocks, legs and inner thighs using the kneading method, and then end with small circles. Turn him over and massage his face and chest.

It's slightly different while massaging the girls. Massage them while she's wearing her bikini or bra and thong. Rub her back and shoulders above the bra. Then undo the back of the bra and rub her neck. Knead her ankles, calves and legs with small circles, then turn her over and massage her breasts, nipples and stomach.

That's it folks. After that it up to you two for whatever extra-curricular activities that entails. My job is done.

Ps: I'm still trying to have big hands. Perhaps that's why the ladies aren't exactly running to me. Sigh!

friends are forever

Maintaining a successful fuck-buddy arrangement can be tricky, but the benefits are worth the effort. Being able to call on a girl you trust for some hot, noncommittal sex is a great thing indeed. However, once you’ve found the right girl, someone who is sexually adventurous and interested in unconventional relationships, how do you maintain the passion without making her feel used or slutty? What exactly is the etiquette?

Give Her Advance Call on Booty Call

You shouldn’t assume she’s available 24 hours a day whenever you want to get laid. Calling her at 2 a.m. as you stumble out of the bar is not the best idea. Etiquette will tell you that she’s not a last resort at last call. Come on chaps, give the girl a advance notice. Plus, if you’re messy drunk at every booty call, she may soon stop answering your calls. Plan ahead and show up at her door at a reasonable hour.

Built Up and Wind Down from Booty Call

You should always give the girl a little consideration. As such, you don’t have to immediately pull her into the bedroom every time you get together. Offer her a glass of wine and let her get comfy first. A little chitchat to help make the situation a little less tense wouldn't go amiss. Afterwards, let her take her time putting herself back together; she may want to shower, fix her hair or makeup. Don’t run as soon as the condom comes off if you’re at hers. Bad.

Come Prepared

Come with proper protection. Crash helmet, whip, blindfold, ropes, First-Aid kit or even the old fashion condom. Scout motto: Be Prepared.

Don't Pull Porn Moves on Her

Don't be tempted to take out your top 10 porn vids and watch it while you're with her. She may be more open to these acts than the average girl, but you shouldn’t spring these things on her without getting an idea of what she thinks about them.

BE DISCREET

If you happen to run into her on the street, don’t make your relationship to her obvious to everyone around you. Keep hands by your side. No grabbing her ass keeping the kisses on the cheeks. No innuendo or blatant sex talk.

bouncy castle

1 teaspoon of sugar syrup
3 dashes of bitters

2 – 2.5 ounces whiskey

Fill small old fashion glasses with ice and set aside to chill.

Stir the above ingredients with large ice cubes until thoroughly chilled. Empty the old fashioned glasses and a swirl a dash of absinthe in each one - discarding any left over liquid. Strain the liquor into each chilled and swirled glass. Twist a peel of lemon over each glass and drop it on top as a garnish. Serve with a small glass of ice water on the side as a chaser
