Ah-ha, oxidation facade yet again! The Curno Public Library and Auditorium in Bergamo, Italy is a monolithic concrete pigmented by ferrous oxides. The visitors will also noticed walls that are embellished with bas-relief alphanumeric characters. The Architects, Studio Archea have created a double skin wall that connects the school into two different spaces - Library and Auditorium. This clear separation creates a threshold and also keeps the local fire authorities happy with fire regulation compliance.
