dive! dive! dive!

The Brunette decided to go to the Natural History Museum's newest exhibition The Deep. It was a laugh as both of us hadn't been there for a while. Of course, the crowds were out and children everywhere. Usually this would annoy me but not today. I've taken my Prozac and everything is just fine. It was a really a well curated exhibition, full of information and full of specimens dating back from the late 1800s. The lighting for the space was dimmed thus making every specimen there glow in the dark. My favourite item there was a 'lilly', a living organism that looks like the flower but have not evolved for millions of years. Simply extraordinary. Two-and-a-half hours later, exhausted with deep-sea submarines and ferocious looking fishes we headed to Knightsbridge for a much needed drink. 2 margaritas please!
