double double
What happens when a vertical plane is subjected to become a branched horizontal extension? Obviously, a deformed geometric arrangment is a resultant of these external forces at hand. Plan B Arquitectos have just done exactly that for a residence in Sopo county, Bogota. Imgaine an unfold house along a steep slope, avoiding the volumetric presence for horizontal extension instead. An onlooker will unmistakenly compare the built-up project to branches of a tree, with the main tree trunk being a library and its branches separates it into various public and private spaces for the clients. This central idea creates 2 different garden levels that captures a view of a lake in the distance.
