Tokyo, Japan is where we’ll be heading next to view a curious duplex house with the Court. You’ll notice a tree smacked in the centre to help moderate the distance between the child and parent households. K+S Architects have integrated big windows similar to the Art Museum in the front of the building. Inside the Court, the interior and exterior playfulness is united by opening the sliding door thus creating a wider open space. The privacy of the 2 households is sensitively considered while maintaining the presence each other in the house.
