Beton Architects (Marta Rowińska & Lech Rowiński) was commissioned to build a church on the bank of Vistula River, near a small village in Tarnów, Poland. In Poland it is quite uncommon for a private investor (a well-known Polish writer) to commission such a building. Constructed entirely of wood with no windows except for a high glass wall, the church serves as a place for meditation and prayer for the villages. The wall of glass behind the altar creates a viewing point towards a river. Small asp chops (laid in pattern) is used for the external facade.
